Broadband Stimulus for Schools and Libraries
Gaslight Media has traditionally provided quality Broadband Internet and consulting services to a wide range of public institutions. However, times are difficult for many of these institutions and hard decisions regarding where limited funds should be directed are applying pressure to reduce expenses at the very time these services should be expanded. We understand this, and are pleased to announce our own Broadband Stimulus plan specifically to address this problem.
Gaslight Media's Broadband Stimulus plan can deliver, generally in less than a week, low-cost supplemental Internet capacity at levels from 10 to 50 Mb/s or more. This "supplemental" capacity, while not recommended for primary "mission critical" applications, is perfectly suited to environments where numerous computers are mostly used to access information, watch video streams, or browse the web. Educational and library computer centers fit this profile well, but also represent a large load on your primary Internet connection. Now, you have a way to lighten that load and improve services without an additional and expensive fiber or cable connection.
We think you'll be surprised how affordable this service can be. For example, in many areas, we can deliver a 24 Mb/s connection for as little as $260 per month!
Our engineers can also work with your IT professionals to integrate this bandwidth into your network and even to use our Broadband Stimulus feed as a backup to your primary connection.
