Great Lakes Bay Regional CVB

Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau is a unique marketing partnership that combines the respective Convention & Visitors Bureaus of Bay County, Midland County, and Saginaw County into a single Convention & Visitors Bureau Organization.

They came to us with the goal of developing a regional travel Web site for the newly formed Great Lakes Bay Regional CVB. We were also presented with the additional challenge to represent the six communities of Bay City, Birch Run, Chesaning, Frankenmuth, Midland and Saginaw in the overall architecture and design of the Web site, providing immediate access for visitors to get to their favorite regional destination.

Using the GLM Associate package, the resulting site allows visitors, meeting planners and travel professionals total access to information pertaining to the Great Lakes Bay Region as a whole as well as the individual communities that lie within those 3 counties. The resulting site allows the CVB to market the region more effectively while maintaining the individuality of each community. A few unique features of this site:

• Collect and make leads available from the Web site to their Constituents in their 'Members Only' area of the Web site.
• Provide meetings, events and sports planner leads to the Great Lakes Bay Regional CVB sales team members .
• Incorporate travel planning tools for visitors including a trip planner, regional events calendar and coupons.
